Condolences
I am very sorry for your loss. May "the god of all comfort" 2 corinthians 1:3-4 brings comfort to your family during this difficult time. Again my condolences.
Norm and his family have always meant so much to ours. I forgot when I went through the line tonight that Dave had asked that I pass his condolences on to you. From Mike being a life-long friend of Steve's and Becky of Sheila's, I've always considered all 4 of you among our close friends. The number of times Norm and Dick shared hospital stays is nothing short of uncanny! It appears Norm has made his journey Home just a few weeks or months ahead of Dick. Know you are loved and admired not only by us, but the entire town! Norm has positively touched many lives!
So very sorry to learn Norm has passed. He touched many lives, always had a smile and great attitude. May you all find comfort in knowing others care.

To Lois and all of Norm's family. I am sorry to learn of Norm's passing and want to extend condolences. I will always remember Norm as a wonderful teacher who had a positive impact on many, many students over the years. He will be remembered as a great man.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
My heart goes out to you. May God bring comfort and peace to all who will miss Norm.
Norm was a great guy who was always willing to help in anyway. He will be deeply missed by everyone. We are thinking of you all during this sad time.
So very sorry. Norm was one of the most loving and giving people I have known in my life. Anyone that has know him has been blessed.
My heart, prayers and thoughts go out to his wonderful family.

We are so sorry to learn of Norm's death. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Dick and Sally
Mr. Schmidt was a great teacher and wonderful man. He will be missed by many people. My thoughts and prayers are with your family today and always.
We both went to SHS and EIU (I was 3 years behind Norm). We both were industrial arts teachers (I taught in Collinsville for 36 years). We both would talk "shop" a lot whenever we ran into each other. So very sorry. Great guy!
Norm was one of nicest and most pleasant men I have ever met. I do not know one single person that did not like him. He is no longer suffering and for that I am grateful . I hope knowing this has some comfort for the ones that are left behind. I know it was for me when I lost my Mary Liz a year ago. GOD's speed Norm you will fit right in with the angels.
Dear Lois and family, we were so sorry to hear about Norm's passing. You have our sincere sympathy. He will be missed.
Mike, Lori, Sydney, Marley and Bailey,

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you that you may find peace in this time of sadness and that memories will remain close to your heart.
Was so sorry to hear this. I also had Mr. Schmidt as a teacher. He taught us at the very west end of the high school main hall, down beyond the gym entrance. It seems like he taught us "small engines"/"electrical"? I still remember Prof. Reed filling in for him from time to time, not knowing much about engine repair, Prof. would fill the hour with interesting stories and how to tie various unique knots...which I still use and often come in quite handy. I always enjoyed Mr. Schmidt's class. I can still see him in his long, stained, protective class jacket. RIP Mr. Schmidt. ~oO( :( )Oo~
He was one of my favorite teachers. Learned many things from this man, drafting, CAD, Electrical, Welding to Building Trades (Construction).
Sorry for your loss.
We are saddened to learn of Norman ''s passing. We enjoyed knowing Norman. You have our sympathy and prayers.
Sending our thoughts and prayers to you Lois and family. Our memories of Norm are always with that big warm smile and kindly heart! We know he will be greatly missed.
