Condolences
Suzie, we are so sorry for your loss of Leonard. He was your rock and a good supporter in all your needs. May God be with you to comfort you and guide you to remember so many good memories you have. Rest in Peace Leonard.
Leonard was my “4th” brother. I grew up with him, always, in my life. Our families were very close. I was the youngest. He was always there.
I told people I had 4 brothers. Later I learned Leonard’s name was shorter than mine. I spent summers at the Lott’s. I loved his Mom and Dad. We vacationed together.
He was always my brother and I grew up going places and doing things with him. He taught me to drive a tractor and a car. When his Mom was dying, the doctors thought I was his sister. I lended support.
All my life, he was a part of it. I will miss our visits. He was “Uncle Leonard” to our daughter always.
There is no doubt, he was a good father and grandfather.
His family was small. We were glad to have him be part of ours.
Leonard was one of the best men out there. Truly one of a kind. He would do anything for anyone. If we needed something done we would joke “don’t tell Leonard “ because he would make it his mission to get it done. Gonna miss him walking in the shop bossing everyone around. He truly was the best.
Such a kind and sweet man, so happy I got to meet him and his wife Suzie. I will always remember him fondly.
Leonard was so kind to me when I moved to the neighborhood in 2000. He allowed me to ride my horse on any of his land. I really appreciated that. He would visit with me when he met me on the road or stop by my house if I was in the yard. Leonard also taught me what a rookery is and where to find it on his property. Thanks Leonard!
Rest in Peace.
