Dr. Rule was my principal at Girard HS, my first full-time teaching job. She was a great principal and I was able to tell her that in person just a few years ago. She was stern and direct when the situation called for it. She was also caring, loving, and supportive of her teachers. I will always admire and fondly remember her, and every principal since has been measured by her. I will also always remember the pies and other goodies she brought to the faculty meetings. Her memory and influence will continue to touch the lives of students through the teachers and others she touched with her kindness.
