Condolences
Dave, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your wife and soulmate. A hard loss, when Deb was so loved and so close to your heart. You'll be prayed for in the hours and days to come.
Caryn (Quarton) Collins
Dave, so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you! Deb was such a happy-go-lucky girl in high school and a pleasure to be around. May your memories be a constant blessing.
Dave, my heart breaks knowing what you are going through. I am so sorry for the loss of your wonderful wife and soulmate. Deb was a joy to all who knew her. She was a favorite at CHS from what I've heard from my granddaughters and their friends. I send you my love and prayers.

Dave you have our deepest sympathy in the loss of Deb
We have known Deb and Dave for many years. They got married two weeks after our daughter was born. I remember celebrating their marriage and our daughter’s birth at a party at Terry and Vicki Burns’ house in town. We have been blessed to celebrate many things with them over the last 40 plus years. Deb taught me a lot about gardening and to not be afraid to plant things (like hydrangeas) that seemed hard to grow (they’re not). I will think of Deb in the summer when the hydrangeas are in full bloom and will miss not being able to talk to her about things I want to plant in the yard. Deb was thoughtful, loyal, and generous. It seems inadequate to just say we will miss her because we will. We are grateful to have known her and to have had her in our lives.
Heartfelt sympathy, caring thoughts, prayers. Special angel. Deb was a true treasure and inspiration. Wishing the family and friends: a song in your hearts; a rainbow after the rain; sunshine after the clouds. Cherished memories. Peace.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Dave and all that loved her. She always had the best stories and made me laugh. I will miss her terribly at our next “classmate” gathering. Gone too soon.
Deb and I worked together at CHS and quickly bonded over our love for animals and our fur babies. I know that Deb will be missed by many and I will miss catching up every time we see each other and talking about our fur babies.
I am so sorry Dave of the passing of your wonderful wife and soulmate. I always looked forward to her magical ideas and follow through with the beautiful high school prom decorations. Blessings to you my friend…
dear Mrs. (Deb) Rathgeb,
you were an amazing person. you ran a wonderful study hall and knew books like the back of your hand. it would never fail, if i came in and needed a book you recommended one and like always i loved it, she’d hate to hear this but i even loved the book she recommended and i didn’t like reading. i also enjoyed the joking around and laughs we’d have. coming into high school, i never thought we would connect the way we did, by time i senior year came. you also loved your shopping. she had a great taste in clothing too. all your wonderful decor and the way you put prom together. you were amazing all around.
rest easy deb we’ll miss you dearly,
a former student Isaac Striplin
Dave,
You know you have my and Jack’s deepest sympathies. I always enjoyed my times with Deb and our many talks. She was my go-to person for advice on many things. I will miss her every day.
As you told me, remember the good times. I pray that you will find a way to remember the good times too and those memories will bring you comfort and peace.
Gail
We are so very sorry to read of Deb's passing. Keeping Dave in our prayers
Dave we are so sorry to hear of Deb’s passing. We are just so shocked. Life seems to be so unfair at times. I am sure your love and memories will help you in the difficult days ahead . Sincerely, Louie and Jennifer Whitlock.
I had the privilege of working alongside Deb in the library all four years. She was always a good listening ear, and was excited to hear about me and what was going on in my life. She truly gave me some of my best high school memories
My deepest condolences to Deb’s nearest and dearest during this heartbreaking loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
It’s so hard to believe that I last saw you on your last day of work. Never in wildest dreams did think I would never see you again. I will miss our talks in the library!! You will be greatly missed- especially at CHS!
Sending thoughts and prayers to
Dave and the “girls “!
