To all of Rich's family. I am very sorry to hear of the passing of my friend. I have lots of memories of our time in Springfield. The notice in the Springfield newspaper was very well said about what Rich enjoyed doing. I was privileged to enjoy some of those activities as well as numerous others. My wife reminded me that Jerilyn also helped her learn how to drive a stick shift. That shows how helpful both Rich and Jerilyn were. I will continue to pray for all the family. John was a good friend starting when we met at scuba diving class in 1978. He was my late husband David's best friend and we spent lots of time together: diving, playing volleyball, watching SCTV every week, and sharing dinners with him and Jerilyn with lots of talking and laughter. I miss him a lot, and his extremely practical mind was an amazing thing!! He wanted everything to make sense. I love you John, you added so much to my life! Gale Myers
