Obituary of George William Wallis

George William Wallis, 34, of Pekin, IL, passed away on December 4, 2021 at Barns-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. George was born on March 24, 1987 to Richard Wallis and Vickie Sutton in Jerseyville, IL. On November 12, 2021 George married Dixie Wallis in Madison County. George worked for Mayflower Moving Company. He also worked for Millwright and drove for Amazon Logistics. George was a very talented mechanic and used his skills to restore his Camaro. He loved his family, especially his five children. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and listening to music and was a member of Broken Chains Motorcycle Club in Alton, IL. George is survived by his parents, Richard Wallis and Vickie (J.T.) Tarvin; wife, Dixie Wallis; four daughters, Kylie Wallis, Samarra Mann, Mariah Wallis, and Ella Mae Wallis; son, Tucker Wallis; brother, David (Jennifer) Harris; sister, Amie Harris; sister, Christina (Nate) Otey; brother, Richard Wallis; sister Sheralee (Aaron) Lake, as well as several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date. Memorials are suggested to Fight the Fight in Pekin, IL or Celebrate Recovery in Alton, IL. Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville is in charge of arrangements.
