Condolences
Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your loved ones. I hope words in John 6:40 will bring comfort during this difficult time.
I have more good memories from 6th grade than any other year. What wonderful teacher you were! The years have went by swiftly. I know you are an angel now and at peace with Leo family and friends. See you when I get there. You are loved by many.
Greatest 5th. grade teacher a guy could ask for. And I wasn’t exactly a great student.
With deepest sympathy to all of Dorothy's family. I'm sorry I was unable to attend the visitation or service.
I am another of Doroty’s crafting friends. She always had a kind and encouraging word and gave generously of her time and support for contests. We will miss her friendly smile. Sincere condolences to all her friends and beloved family.
My condolences on the passing of Dorothy. She was very interested in where I was living - The Australian Outback. A lovely lady, wish we could have met.
So sorry for your loss. She was one of my favorite teachers. She inspired me to become a teacher. She always had a special place in my heart.
My prayers are with Dorothy’s family. Mrs. Cordes was my favorite teacher. She helped instill in me the love of reading. She was loved her students. We all were blessed to have her in our lives.
So sorry to hear of the loss of dear Dorothy. We never met but she was an inspirational member of our craft forum. Gone but never forgotten xxxx
Rest easy dear lady.
Safe in the arms of Jesus
My deepest condolences to the Cordes family. Mrs Cordes was an absolute joy to be around. She always told me how Rick & my brother Steve would take me to little league games in a stroller and Rick named his daughter after me. I hope she is reunited with Leo and they are at peace. What a full and wonderful life they lived!
I will always remember Dorothy from both COC and WOC card lists. I do wish she had been able to come to her granddaughters graduation from WSU so that we could have met in person.
RIP my dear lady you have now earned your wings to fly from this earth...
Rest in peace Dorothy. It was a privilege knowing you through WOC. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Lynn, Rick and family, I was sad to hear of your Mother's death, she was a true lady. I'm sure you've heard this frequently over the years, but she was so loved as a teacher, (and my favorite teacher!!) I remember 5th grade like it was yesterday. Peace be with you! , and I think Heaven just got sweeter! RIP Mrs. Cordes!
Knowing Dorothy through her participation on WOC leaves me with happy memories of a lovely kind and generous person - treasures to carry with me always. RIP Dorothy.
Rest in Peace Mrs. Cordes. I look forward to seeing you again some day. You were one of my favorite teachers and I thank you for all. God Bless You.
We will always remember you and your lovely smile Dorothy. The World of Crafters is a sad place today without you. Rest in Peace.
My Dear Dorothy, It was a privilege to be counted as one of your friends. You have been an inspiration to me so often. I will treasure the memory of you. Rest in Peace.
My sincerest condolences to all relatives.
From Your WOC friend Morag xx
Rest peacefully, dear Dorothy, you will be very sadly missed at World of Crafters. Sincere condolences to all her family, some of whom we feel we have come to know through our forum.
Dorothy was my 'online mum' at World of Crafters and previously the Circle of Crafters, such a dear lady and I will sorely miss her.
I am so sorry to hear that we have lost Dorothy. She was a much loved member of our online crafting family, firstly at Circle of Crafters and then at World of Crafters. She will be very much missed by all of the members but especially by the team of moderators who valued her wise input and generous support. Our thoughts are with all of the family, who meant the World to Dorothy.
Such a wonderful lady. I will miss not seeing her at church.

Dorothy was a fabulous teacher, a good friend, and I’m certain there are many friends welcoming her home! Sympathies to the family.
My prayers are with your family at this time. Dorothy was a great lady. Was always glad when my kids got her as a teacher.

Rick and Lynn, your mother was a treasure. We are blessed to have known her. Wishing you peace and fond memories.
I’m so glad I told her several times she was my favorite teacher. She would always laugh at me, but it was so true. She had a way to bring out the best of you. My deepest sympathy .
Lynn, my condolences and sympathy to you and your family, may sweet memories be comfort to you.
Rick and Lynn,
I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother was a wonderful woman and will truly be missed. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
Dorothy was such a beautiful lady who shared so many wonderful stories with us. She was so proud of her work as a teacher and loved teaching all the kids. She could tell you stories about her life as a child all the way up to present time. I told her once that she should write a book about her life and she laughed and said " I know one thing, it would be an interesting book". YES Dorothy, it definitely would!!! Thoughts and prayers to Rick, Lynn and family. She glad we got to share a lot of great visits and outings in the past several years.. Will miss her so very much!!!
I taught with and learned from my friend Dorothy. She was such a creative teacher whose compassion for her students was such an learning example to me. She was a special friend. I shall miss her. Wishing comfort and peace for all her family.
