I want to express my condolences to Gary, Barb & the rest of Margery's family. She was such a dear, sweet lady - and how could you not love that British accent? The only other English "war bride" I knew growing up in Girard was Audrey Smith, mother of my good friend, Brian. In one of my last conversations with Margery, she explained the difference in their accents with a brief lesson in English geography. I learned something new every time I talked with Margery! I also want to speak on behalf of her Christian faith that remained strong throughout the various challenges she faced in life. As she has entered into the joy of her Lord, may God's comfort and peace be with each of her loved ones.

Such a sweet lady and a great friend to my parents. My wife fell in love with Marge's accent the first time she met her and after that we visited often. She had such a great outlook on everything and certainly lived a full and meaningful life. We will think of her often.

Sending condolences, sympathy and prayers to the Stauffer family. As a former neighbor I remember working with Karl on his old cars in the alley beside his West Monroe home. I remember him serving in the army and bringing Margery home after the war. Margery was a fun person. May she Rest In Peace.
