Obituary of Helen I. Greenwalt

Helen I. Greenwalt, age 72 of Carlinville, passed away Friday morning, December 30, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. Helen was born December 4, 1944, in Carlinville, , Ill, a daughter of Anna Marie Beard. Helen graduated from Carlinville High School with the class of 1962. She has worked for the State of Illinois, Central Illinois Steel Company and Production Credit Company as a secretary. While at Prairie Farms Dairy, Helen served as the payroll clerk. In 2005 she retired from American Family Insurance Company, where she worked in the claims department. Helen enjoy all kinds of crafts, baking wedding cakes and spending time with her grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Robb and brother, James Beard. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 2, 2017, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 am, Tuesday,January 3, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery, Carlinville. Helen is survived by her mother, Anna Marie Ruyle of Carlinville, IL, son, Michael (Stacey) Greenwalt of Shipman, IL, daughter, Michelle Greenwalt of Carlinville, IL, grandchildren; Loran and Dalton Greenwalt and Logan Day, brothers, Russell "Butch" (Linda) Ruyle of Carlinville, IL, Cecil (Maxine) Ruyle of Carlinville, IL, Curt (Bev) Ruyle of Farmersville, IL, Don (Sandy) Ruyle of Gillespie, Illinois, sisters, Sally (David) Baum of Gillespie, IL, Lisa Haley of Carlinville, IL, Theresa (Carl) Madden of House Springs, MO, several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Carlinville Area Hospital Foundation. Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville is in charge of arrangements.
