Obituary of Rose M. Isenhower

Rose M. Isenhower, 86 of Carlinville, passed away Tuesday morning, May 24, 2016, at Heritage Health in Carlinville, IL. Rose was born November 12, 1929, in Springfield, IL, a daughter of Lee and Irene (Jones) Irvin. Rose enjoyed cooking and worked as a cook at several different food establishments, including Ashland School District #217, Ashland, IL, Lewis Memorial Christian Village and Heritage House both in Springfield, IL. She had a deep faith and loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Rose was a member of Real Life Church in Springfield, IL. A Memorial service will be held, Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11:00am at Real Life Church in Springfield, IL with Clint Cook officiating. A fellowship meal will follow the service. Rose will be buried with family in Ashland Cemetery, Ashland, IL. Rose is survived by her daughter, Betty Sharp of Springfield, IL, daughter, Beverly (Gene) Anderson of Springfield, IL, daughter, Jeanie (Dave) Laughlin of TX, son, Donnie Isenhower of Hollister, MO, daughter, Bonnie (Kevin) Gaul of Springfield, IL, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, brother, Lou (Sharon) Irvin of Lorraine, IL, sister, Betty Frutiger of Pheonix, AZ, several nieces and nephews.
