Condolences
I was stationed with Everett at Clinton Sherman AFB. In Oklahoma. I later stopped in to visit him in Girard
Dear Talley Family, Everett and I attended elementary school together. As others said, his smile and laughter marked his personal outlook--positive! His mother is a distant cousin, as I understand it. May God grant you peace and comfort always and may he be rewarded for the life he led.
To my big brother our memories really didn't start till I was grown and married. You had gone to the service when I was small. My best memories with you were the tractor pulls and the fish fries we had. You and Kenny gave us all nickname. You were June Bug, Ken boy, Shan and Lou. Big brother you will be miss but, your memories will all way be with us. Love Ya! Shan
Remembering Good Friends of the Past.
I knew "Mr. Talley" in Okinawa, Japan back in the early 1970's. Our family's were very close and spent time together all while we both lived there. He called me "Miss Feikert" always. His big smile and laugh, hibachi Chicken we ate almost every week and trips to the beath on weekends was something I will always carry in my heart. My best to Mark, Scott and the family. Memories are forever :)Rosann
We send our condolences to the family. Not knowing Everett, but knowing and working with Ken Talley for years, I know he was also a great person. Our deepest sympathy goes out to all the family members, May you find peace.
To Jr's Family: Our hearts are saddened by the loss of a very special person in your lives and one who added so much humor and joy to our lives. We were delighted with the picture you selected as it depicts two of many gifts he had, one his broad smile and his contagious laugh. We want to thank you, his family, for the gift of service to our country. A special memory we have of him is when he was in the service. At that time Mel O Cream Donuts in Springfield, offered to send donuts to our serviceme if you would come in and place an order. Knowing how he enjoyed eating, we sent him a big box of donuts. When he got back to his tent one day, the donuts had arrived and the ants, big ants, were having a feast. He picked up his donuts, knocking ants off those donuts, saying "you are not having all my donuts from home," and preceded to eat the rest of the donuts. When he returned home, he told us the story with all his facial expressions and humor, and we laughed until we cried. Even though we have not seen him in years, he left us with many fond memories. We thank Jesus for no more pain and lots of joy for him. Rich & Marlene(Miller)Schlenther Nicholasville, KY
