To all of Beaver’s loved ones, please accept our condolences on his passing. I have a lot of great memories of little league baseball and teenage years years spent in the Prairie Street neighborhood where Beaver was so welcoming and happy to see all of us kids. I’m certain that a lifetime of memories will carry your through the tough days ahead.
Sorry to hear about Beaver. My memory of Beaver goes back to when we were kids living on Laurel St. in Staunton. It was a summer custom to walk uptown on Sat. night to hear the band concert. I remember all the Coatney kids walking uptown on the other side of the street with their mom and dad in the rear.
Dan & I so enjoyed visiting with Beaver. He always made us smile. Sending prayers to you Ruth and the family.
This man could light up a room. I always enjoyed talking to him, he was on Board of Review when I worked at Courthouse…..great friend. Will miss his smile.
I truly think the entire town will miss Beaver. He was incredible man he was and a shining example of commitment and love. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family . God bless you all.
It was hard not to have a smile on your face when you were around Beaver. Just no words to describe what an awesome guy he truly was. A life well lived. We feel so blessed to have been a part of his life. He will truly be missed and always remembered.
We wish for comfort and peace for Ruth All the family.
My interactions with Ray was as a waitress at Russell’s Cafe, once on the square, and later at the Glades were always a treat. He was such a positive person that one would always feel better for having been around him. Surely he left his loved ones with pleasant memories.
