Condolences
Sending heartfelt sympathy to all of Dean's loved ones, especially Mag and Krista. Hold on to the many wonderful memories you share. Sincerely, Jim and Carolyn Pickett
Dean was a true friend and a real blessing to have known. Not only will be remembered for his quiet and friendly ways but more so for his love of family. Ask Dean “How are the rabbits and the parrot doing” you would get a reply that was full of pride and love. That love and pride was extended from Mag to the great grandchildren and all those between. Dean will be missed by all of us but I am sure Dean would say “I had a great life here on earth and love you all and am leaving with no regrets. “
Maggie, I am so sorry for your loss. I can attest that Dean and you were adventurous and were very forgiving people. I took a trip to Mardi Gras one year, long long time ago, in the back of your pickup truck with others. Yes we had fun! You and Dean made sure of that. And then coming home the wheel on the camper decided to not work so we were stuck. But not for long. Dean got on the phone made a couple of calls and away we headed home. We left the camper there for Dean to return the next day to fix it and bring it home. At the time, he wasn't thinking of himself or got mad; he knew he had to get us home because we all had jobs waiting for us the next morning. I think of that trip with fond memories! Thanks Dean for a fun time!!
Dean was a special gentleman. I worked with and for him. He was patient, kind, and generous. We had many laughs amid the hard work of farming. My thoughts are with Mag. She, like Dean, is super special and the epitome of a hard working woman not afraid of standing up for what she believes in.
Dean was a true inspiration for me.
Dean was a wonderful person. I remember when we were younger we went camping with our parents Jack and Pat Collins at Carlinville Lake where we meet Dean and Mag with Larry and Krista. It was always so much fun. Dean will be greatly missed. Sending hugs and prayers to the family.
