Nancy Sue Marie Coble, 71, of Springfield, passed away Sunday morning, May 22, 2022 at Sunrise Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Virden, IL.
Nancy was born on August 3, 1950 to Sterling and Mildred Knibb.
Nancy was an administrative assistant with the Illinois Department of Corrections for 28 years before retiring. She collected blown glass figurines and enjoyed fishing.
Nancy is survived by her sister, Kathy (Tim) Cherify of Girsrd, IL; three brothers, Dave Bloomfield of Carlinville, IL, Tim (Linda) Lauth of Collinsville, IL, and Danny Weise of VA; several nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Sterling and Mildred Knibb, adoptive parents, Clarence and Marjorie Coble, and a brother, Jeff Knibb.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at 10:30 am at the Girard Cemetery, Girard, IL, with , Rev. Kenneth Lovely officiating.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard is in charge of arrangements.
