Bob was a dear friend of my parents - Jim and Janet Burns....he was one of their first friends when they moved to Carlinville in 1959 and played bridge with my Dad for almost 50 years!!! Good memories for me were visiting Lapp's Flower shop which was filled with wonderful flower smells and beautiful gifts I could not touch. I always remember breaking my arm as a little girl and receiving a beautiful painted clay Owl "piggy" bank that I cherished for year. I am sure Bob is up in heaven playing bridge with my Dad and their other bridge buddies! Colleen
