We are sorry for your loss. Jim will be remembered by our family in many ways. He taught father and both children in school. He worked with both children in Scholastic Bowl. Mr. Fenton was one of my favorite teachers in High School. I loved talking baseball with him after class and in the hallways. He will be missed by the entire Carlinville community as well as his former students.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. I always enjoyed working with Jim and still remember him as my Civics and Econ teacher (I even remember some of the stuff he tried to teach us). He was a great guy and will be sadly missed.
