Anna Mae Link, 83, of Carlinville, passed away on Monday morning, March 13, 2017 at Heritage Health Care in Carlinville, IL.
Ann was born on May 15, 1933 to Benjamin and Rose (Jasinski) Piascik in Chicago, IL. She graduated from St. Mary of Perpetual Help in Chicago and married Charles Glenn Link on May 23, 1951 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Carlinville. He preceded her in death on February 12, 1993.
Ann worked for Area Heating and Cooling in Carlinville as a bookkeeper. She also worked in the meat department for Tri-City Grocery, Taylor's Chili Parlor, Rosentreter Body Shop as a bookkeeper and a clerk for the Secretary of State in Springfield. Ann was a member of Ss Mary and Joseph Catholic Church in Carlinville. She loved music, dancing, roller skating, traveling, and canning. Ann was a past member of the Catholic Daughters of America and Sweet Adeline.
Ann is survived by her son, Stephen Link of Carlinville, IL; daughter, Cheryl (Gerry) Beanblossom of Carlinville, IL; son, Alan Link of Carlinville, IL; son, Roger (Lisa) Link of Pawnee, IL; son, Frank (Debra) Link of Carlinville, IL; 9 grandchildren, Sarah (Jason) Boente, Kate (Andy) Stehl, Emily Beanblossom, Brandon Link, David Link, Adam Link, Kallie Link, Chad Link, and Kristin Link; 4 great grandchildren; 2 step sisters, Shirley Falter and Doris Falter, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband and parents, Ann was preceded in death by 3 Grandchildren, Jill and Jennifer Beanblossom, and Jacob Link, as well as 3 sisters, Nancy Barley Carol Townsend, and Rosemary Piascik.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Ss Mary and Joseph Catholic Church in Carlinville with a prayer service being conducted at 3:45 pm.
Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 10:00 am at the church with Father Michael Haag officiating.
Burial follow in New Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Ss Mary and Joseph Building Fund or the Alzheimer's Association.
