Condolences
To The Family, I want to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I also want to share the comfort of John 5:28,29 where we are promised that those who have fallen asleep in death have the hope of receiving a "resurrection" back to life. Life on an earth restored to a beautiful paradise. Psalms 37:11 says, "The meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." While we await that wonderful time please find comfort in these promises. www.JW.org

Dena was a wonderful family member, friend and I can't imagine life without her. Prayers to all of her family and for the many friends who now have this whole in their heart.
I send my deepest condolences to the Liay family. I’m so so sorry to hear this news. I grew up on the other side of the Boente lot and have strong memories of the Liay family. Big Mike called Jane and me “chocolate and vanilla” (because I had such dark hair and Jane was so blond) and Little Mike taught me to ride a bike. Jane and I loved playing with Dena. She was such a fun and sweet little girl. A few years ago, Dena reached out to connect with me. She shared with me her life so far and a little about her children. My heart breaks for them all. May her memory be a blessing.
Jaclyn my heart is broken for you, and your family, your mom was such a wonderful person. Always with a smile on her face and so kind to everyone. Please lean on your family and God to get you through this hard time.
She was such a Wonderful person always greeted you with a smile. I am so glad to have met her and to say she was a friend. My prayers for family and friends to get through your loss, she is smiling down on us and at peace and healthy <3 She will be Forever in Our Hearts!
I'm so sorry for your loss! Did you know that soon you'll be reunited with your loved again! The bible says at John 5:28,29... "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to resurrection of life... How comforting that is to be with your loved one again! www.JW.org

Jaclyn, Zach, Sophia & family - thoughts and prayers to you all. Dena was simply amazing and had such a huge heart. May you find comfort and strength in all the wonderful memories you have.
Dear Family, very soon you will be saying your final goodbyes to your loved one. Yet in John 5:28,29 we are comforted with the hope that our dear ones (Dena) are in God's memory. They will not be forgotten and neither are you. (Revelation 21:3-5)

Dear Marlene and family/loved ones of Dena,
I will always remember walking by Dena's house when I was visiting Carlinville a few years ago and I heard Dena say - "Colleen - is that you?!). I was on the sidewalk - she was on her front porch and she noticed me after not seeing me for years. She was so excited to see me and I was happy to see her. The sparkle in her eyes was memorable.
We spent several years together - me as her babysitter - when she was very young -- I always felt a very special bond to Dena based on all of the one-on-one talks and alone time we had together when she was so young. In my memory, I will always see her as a young grade school girl. She was so funny, smart and beautiful. I was very proud to be her babysitter. Since that time, she grew up, had a family of her own and lived a good life. She will be missed.
My deepest sympathy,
Colleen Burns
