Eileen F. Boehm 86, of Carlinville, passed away Friday, December 3, 2010 at Carlinville Area Hospital. She was born Wednesday, May 21, 1924 in Carlinville, IL, the daughter of Thomas and Ethel (Benny) Killam. She married John S. Boehm in Carlinville on February 15, 1944. He preceded her in death in 2004. Eileen graduated from Carlinville High School in 1943. She was a homemaker, farm wife & mother. She enjoyed playing cards with friends, sewing, flower gardening, and was a great cook. She was a member of Carlinville United Methodist Church as well as Friendly Neighbors. Survivors: daughter, Alice Boehm, of Carlinville son, John T. Boehm (Ann), of Carlinville daughter, Coleen Flaar (Dave), of Galesburg daughter, Beth Hammann (Ed), of Carlinville son, Dennis Boehm, of Carlinville son, Kurt Boehm (Sherri), grandchildren Kim Hurley, Jane Shanner, Stephanie Norwood, Neil Boehm, Eric Boehm, Shane Flaar, Michelle Carlson, Kelsey Flaar, Ed Hammann, Jeff Hammann, John Hammann, Quin Hammann, Erin Boehm, Jack Boehm, Laura Starr, Jered Boehm, and Whitney Boehm, 16 great grandchildren, brother, Ed Killam (Lorraine), of Carlinville sister, Mary Loveless (Sam), of Carlinville and brother-in-law, William A. Johnson of Carlinville. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John and sister Norma Johnson. Funeral Information Visitation: Monday, December 6, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Carlinville United Methodist Church in Carlinville. Funeral service: 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Carlinville United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery in Carlinville. Donations Information Memorials may be made to the Carlinville Area Hospital Building Fund and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
