Ted Wagy
87, of Carlinville, formerly of Raymond, died Friday, May 21, 2010.
He was born Tuesday, November 14, 1922 in West Liberty, IL, the son of Ray and Ruth M. (Metheny) Wagy.
He married Joyce (Powell), December 20, 1947 at the Westside Christian Church in Springfield, she passed away March 29, 2003.
Ted served his country in W W #2 assigned to the Army. He later graduated in 1955 from the U of I in Champaign. Ted practiced veterinarian medicine in Raymond for 47 years and retired in 2001.
Ted was a member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church in rural Raymond and former member of the Litchfield Christian Church. He served on the founding board for the Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield and was a past member of the Lincolnwood School Board and Raymond Kiwanis Club. He had served as the publisher of the "Sports and Travel for Veterinarians". Ted was a great lover of the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

son, Tim Wagy (Judy) of Carlinville, IL,
daughter, Susan Wagy of St. Louis, MO,
daughter, Peggy Lupton (Kevin) of Hailey, ID,
6 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, wife, brothers, Ray Wagy, Gene Wagy, infant brother Kenneth, sister Alice Dyson, grandchildren Charity and Ross Wagy. Funeral Information
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:30 P.M., Monday May 24, 2010 at the Pleasant Hill Christian Church 19433 W. Frontage Road, in rural Raymond.
Funeral services will be held after visitation at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Dave Ziegenbein from Pleasant Hill and Rev. Steve Revisky of Litchfield Christian Church officiating.
Private graveside services will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Springfield, IL. Donations Information
