Edward Charles Taulbee
83, of Carlinville, formerly of Irving , died Thursday, June 17, 2010 at Friendship Home.
He was born Sunday, June 12, 1927 in Irving, IL, the Son of Harry and Bertha (Linxwiler) Weatherford. After his mothers death he was adopted by George and Renee (Satterlee) Taulbee. Edward married Gladys (Traylor), 1968 in Hillsboro, IL and they later divorced.
Edward retired from the State of Illinois in 1989 as a guard at the Pontiac Correctional Center in Pontiac, IL.
He was a great fan of Marilyn Monroe and collected her memorabilia.
Surviving are Daughter, Marilyn Wheaton of Carlinville, IL, Son, Leslie Traylor (Rebecca) of Ft. Bragg, NC, 3 Grandchildren, 1 Great Granddaughter, Sister, Isabel O'Hara of Merced, CA.
He was preceded in death by Brother, William Weatherford. Funeral Information
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M., Saturday, June 19 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville, IL.
There will be no services. Donations Information
