Obituary of Jimmy E. Stalans

Jimmy E. Stalans 46, of Girard passed away Sunday morning, September 9, 2012, at his residence. Jimmy was born February 2, 1966, in Chicago, IL, a son of Earl Stalans and Nicole (Gauthier) Stalans Eimen. Jimmy married Charlene (Hurley) February 4, 1989, in Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nicole Stalans Eimen. Jimmy served in the US Army from 1989-1994 where he was a tank driver stationed at Ft.Bliss, Texas. After his discharge he became an over the road truck driver. Jimmy has driven for Waller Trucking Company for the past two years. He enjoyed guns, knives, swords, history and science. Surviving are his wife, Charlene Stalans, son, Timothy (Natasha) Stalans of Virden, son, Joey Stalans of Girard, grandchildren, Zachary & Sadie Stalans, father, Earl (step-mother Glories) Stalans of McLeansboro, grandmother, Hortense Gauthier of Chicago, sister, Tammy Smith of Heflin AL, Bernie Stalans of Chicago, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Information Friends may call Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the First Christian Church 700 West Center in Girard, IL, where funeral services will be held Friday,September 14th at 10:00 A.M. at the church Donations Information Memorials may be made to the Macoupin County Animal Shelter.
