Obituary of Curtis Michael Scott

Curtis Michael Scott 33, of Girard passed away Tuesday evening, September 4, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. Curtis was born April 4, 1979, in Springfield, IL, son of Michael Allan Scott and Julia (Hotarek) Scott Waldrop. Curtis married Tiffaney Kay (Flynn) on December 17, 2004 in Carlinville, IL. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Allan Scott and step-sister Diane Johnson. Curtis worked as an Mechanic for the Kruse Enterprises in Girard for over 5 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, 4-wheeling and working on automobiles. His favorite past time was his daughters. Surviving are his wife Tiffaney of Girard, daughters; Abigal, Renee and Mckayla Scott, mother Julia Waldrop of Girard, sister Jessica Scott of Springfield, step-mother Denna Scott of Danville, half sisters Michelle (Jim) Sagser of Danville and Traci (Scott) Minton of Eureka, half brother Bill Trussel of Danville, mother and father in-law, Rose & Matthew Britz of Thayer, sister & brother-in-law Nevonda & Danny Daniels of Virden, brother-in-law Jay Britz of Springfield and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Information Visitation will be held Monday, September 10, 2012 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the First Christian Church 700 West Center in Girard. Funeral Services will be held at the First Christian Church, 10:00am, Tuesday, September 11, 2012. Burial will be in Girard Cemetery.
