Obituary of Jim Santowski

Jim Santowski 50, of Girard, passed away on Friday morning, October 28, 2011 in Carlinville. Jim was born on October 17, 1961 to Gerald and Fay (Moskaloff) Santowski in Chicago. He married Alita Campbell on December 6, 1986 in Decatur, IL. Jim graduated from Taft High School in Chicago, class of 1979. He worked as a plumber for Local 137 in Springfield, IL. Jim loved fishing, hunting and his yellow lab, "Hank". Jim is survived by his mother, Fay Santowski of Carlinville, two sons, Eric Santowski of Chesterfield and Daniel Santowski of Girard; sister - Linda Santowski (Fiancee Gary Wiser) of Chesterfield and his brother, Gene Carriere of Des Plaines, IL, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alita in 2010 and his father, Gerald Santowski in 2009. Funeral Information Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
