Julia H. (Garrison) Rainey
age 93, of Carlinville passed away, Tuesday morning, October 7, 2014, at Friendship Home in Carlinville, IL.
Julia was born April 7, 1921, in Carlinville, IL, a daughter of Jerry William and Nellie Karrick Garrison.
She married Harold E. Rainey November 18, 1935 in Carlinville, IL and he passed away November 5, 2003.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, seven brothers and a sister.
Julia was a homemaker and enjoyed making quilts, fishing and loved yard sales.
Surviving are her sons, Jerry D (Cheryl) Rainey of Carlinville, IL and Roger (Polly) Rainey of Carlinville, IL, daughters, Marjorie L. (Charles) Winsel of Carlinville, IL and Sharon K. (Fred) Cope of Carrollton, IL, 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; brother Earnest Garrison of The Dalles, OR. two sisters; Ethel Jesse of Girard, IL, Lorraine Conway of Fresno, CA and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held, Friday, October 10, 2014, 10:30 A.M. at Moore Cemetery rural Carlinville, with Rev. Curt Ebert officiating.
Burial will be in Moore Cemetery. Donations Information
