Walter S. Beckham
65, of Chicago, formerly of Virden and Carlinville, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Forest Edge in Chicago, Illinois.
He was born on July 5, 1948 to Walter K. and Alice Pauline (Ickas) Beckham in Springfield, Illinois.
Walter was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Carlinville. He worked at the Illinois Valley Rehab Center in Gillespie, IL.
Walter is survived by his sister - Mary Lou Lewis of Auburn, Illinois;and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister - Alice Faye Lewis. Funeral Information
A Memorial Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at 10:00 am at the Virden Cemetery, Virden, IL, with Jimmy Hammond, officiating. There will be no visitation. Donations Information
