Janet Beasley
81, of Carlinville passed away Monday evening, November 25, 2013 at Carlinville Area Hospital.
Janet was born on August 15, 1932 in Decatur, IL, a daughter of Frank J. and Bernice "Babe" (Griffin) Kekeisen.
Janet married Paul Beasley in 1953.
Janet graduated from St. Theresa High School and St. John's School of Nursing in Springfield.
Janet was a Registered Nurse for 45 years working at Carlinville Area Hospital and as a charge nurse at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Janet was a member of Ss Mary & Joseph Catholic in Carlinville. Janet cherished her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Her enthusiasm for life, caring for others, her sense of humor & heartwarming smile will never be forgotten. She also loved to watch the St. Louis Cardinal's and Ram's.
Surviving are her 4 children, daughter Michelle "Mick" (Jack) Shudrowitz of Springfield, IL; daughter, Laurie (Robert) Savitt of St. Louis, MO; daughter, Nancy (Troy) Pettit of Carlinville, IL; son, Gregory (Annette) Beasley of Alton, IL; 10 grandchildren, Jeffrey and Megan Shudrowitz; Roody and Savannah Savitt; Brooke Newingham, Brittany and Brady Pettit; Kyrstin, Kaitlin and Kolton Beasley; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Louise (Dr. Geoffrey) Miller of St. Louis, MO; brother, Frank Kekeisen, Jr. of St. Louis, MO; brother, Robert Kekeisen of St. Louis, MO and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Rev. William E. Kekeisen. Funeral Information
Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Ss. Mary & Joseph Catholic Church in Carlinville.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Ss Mary & Joseph Catholic Church in Carlinville.
Burial will be in New Calvary Cemetery in Carlinville. Donations Information
