Rick Nejmanowski
63, of Carlinville passed away, Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Carlinville Area Hospital.
Rick was born May 26, 1949, in Mt Clemens, MI, a son of Delbert and Evelyn I. (Ochylski) Nejmanowski.
Rick graduated from Carlinville High School with the class of 1967 and married his high school "girlfriend" Christine Fisher on October 3, 1969 in Carlinville.
Rick was in the meat industry throughout his lifetime. He started out in the slaughter house, and was most recently in the distributor-wholesale meat business. Rick enjoyed hunting, fishing, barbecuing, cooking, and all kinds of animals. He held a private pilot license. His real love was his "girlfriend", his sons and granddaughters. His granddaughters called him "Dziadek".
He was preceded in death by his father and brother Jeffrey.
Surviving are his wife, Chris Nejmanowski, son, Damon Nejmanowski of Carlinville, son, Matthew (Holly) Nejmanowski of Carlinville, granddaughters, Avery and Zosia Nejmanowski, mother, Evelyn I. Nejmanowski of Arlington TX, sister, Jacqueline Brandenburg-Rees of Carlinville, brother, Bruce R. Nejmanowski of Carbondale, sisters, Pamela Cook of Arlington TX, Barbara S. Kiss of Carrollton TX, Regina M. Prudue of San Rafael TX, brother, Patrick (Michael) Nejmanowski of Carlinville, sister, Patricia J. Nejmanowski of Southlake TX and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held, Wednesday, January 02, 2013 from 4:00 to 6:00 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville..
Graveside services will be 10:00 am, Thursday,January 3, 2013 at Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery in Carlinville.
Burial will be in;Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery. Donations Information
