Ronald L. Miller 75 of Waverly, IL passed away Wednesday afternoon, September 10, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. Ronald was born on June 23, 1939 to Forrest and Lilly (Winsel) Miller in Nilwood, IL. He graduated from New Berlin High School with the class of 1957 and served in the United States Army during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Ronald then married Dorothy Talbert and she survives. Ronald was a farmer for 29 years and also worked for ACR Components in Chatham, IL, as well as working part time for Dickey-John in Auburn. He enjoyed yard work, carpentry and spending time with his family. Ronald is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Waverly; mother, Lilly Miller of Lincoln, IL; two sons, Richard L. (Deanna) Miller of Girard and Ron Miller of Palmyra; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; two sisters, Donna (Steve) Blanford of Lincoln, IL and Phyllis Neff of Lincoln, IL; . He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter, Karen Hecht. Funeral Information Friends and family may call, Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard, IL.
