Dave Mansfield
60, of Carlinville, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013 at home, surrounded by loved ones.
He was born on June 8, 1952 to Kenneth A. and Lucille M. (Hemminghaus) Mansfield in Carlinville. He graduated from Carlinville High School with the class of 1970. In 1972, he joined the Army and served his country during the Vietnam War. On April 21, 1978 he married Debbie Rauzi in Carlinville, Illinois. David worked as a Journeyman Machinist for Lincoln, located in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dave loved being with family and friends. He enjoyed working around the house, garage, and yard. Dave could always be found detailing his autos or just working on his lawn or flowerbeds.
David is survived by his loving spouse of 34 years, Debbie, son - Eric Mansfield (wife Alanna) of Hettick, IL; daughter - Ashlee Madix (husband Kyle) of Jerseyville, IL; 4 Grandchildren - Kaden and Braxton Mansfield, and Mia and Liam Madix; sisters - Shirley Stilwell (husband Ralph) and Delores Bouillon, both of Carlinville; brother - Carl Mansfield, of Carlinville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth A. Mansfield in 1984 and his mother, Lucille M. Mansfield in 2005. Funeral Information
Visitation will be Monday, March 4th, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home in Carlinville.
Graveside Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, 10:00 am at the Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery in Carlinville, with Rev. Gary Harding, officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Guy Baird Post 544 following. Donations Information
