Obituary of Albertha Viola Lehmann

Albertha Viola Lehmann 98, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Carlinville, passed away Wednesday morning, March 6, 2013 at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, OK. Albertha was born on January 5, 1915 to Gustav and Maria S. (Harms) Crehl in Carlinville. She graduated from Carlinville High School with the class of 1932. Albertha married Victor F. Lehmann on February 16, 1941 in Carlinville and he preceded her in death in June 1957. Albertha was a bookkeeper for Dick Shirley Chevrolet in Carlinville and loved reading, working puzzles, and crocheting. Albertha is survived by her daughter, Betty Cairns (Paul Robert "Bob") of Oklahoma City, OK; 2 grandsons, Eric and Ethan Cairns (Odessa); 3 Great-Grandchildren, Owen, Eva and Eleea Cairns; brother, Melvin Crehl of Carlinville; sister-in-law, Clara Gross of Carlinville and several nieces and nephews. Albertha was preceded in death by her husband, Victor and parents, Gustav and Maria S. Crehl. Funeral Information Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon, March 10, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Kevin Strope officiating. Burial will follow at Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery.
