Obituary of Howard M. Kuntzmann

Howard M. Kuntzmann 82, of Carlinville, died Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Carlinville Rehab Center. He was born Saturday, March 30, 1929 in Carlinville, IL, the son of George and Lucille (Reiher) Kuntzmann. He married Doris (Knudson) Kuntzmann in Jacksonville, IL on November 25, 1972. Howard worked as a printer for over 40 years at the State Journal Register in Springfield, IL. He retired in 1983. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and past Assistant Fire Chief for the Carlinville Fire Department. He was also the Fire Inspector for the City of Carlinville. Survivors: Wife, Doris Kuntzmann of Carlinville, IL, Step Daughter, Karen Allen of Girard, IL, Step Granddaughter, Amy Wylder (Brad), Step Granddaughter, Jill Mazrim (Tim), Step Granddaughter, Heather Huffines (Jay), Step Grandson, Chad Allen, 7 Step Great Grandchildren, 1 Step Great Great Grandchild, Sister, Helen Jennings of Carlinville, IL, Sister-In-Law, Irene Kuntzmann of Virden, IL, His dog Buddy.
