Obituary of Coletta M. Kincaid

Coletta M. Kincaid 74 of Carlinville, passed away Tuesday afternoon, October 21, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. Coletta was born on November 7, 1939 to Melvin and Eileen (Mefford) Wiser in Palmyra, IL. She attended Carlinville High School and on July 12, 1955 she married Robert V. "Jelly" Kincaid in St. Charles, MO. Robert preceded Coletta in death on August 27, 1995. Coletta was a homemaker and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Carlinville. She loved spending time with her family. Coletta is survived by three daughters, Bobetta (Charles) Obenchain of San Angelo, TX, Marita Karrick of Carlinville and Katrina (David) Cunningham of Mt. Clare, IL; son, John (Vickie) Kincaid of Carlinville; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; two brothers, M. Dean (Bonnie) Wiser and William T. (Phyllis) Wiser, both of Carlinville, as well as several nieces and nephews. Coletta was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a brother, A.J. Wiser. Funeral Information Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 11:00 to 1:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville, IL. Graveside funeral services and burial will follow on Saturday at 1:00 pm at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Carlinville with Rev. Cliff Woodman, and Nate Nels officiating.
