Obituary of Bobbie R. Kilian

Bobbie R. Kilian 44, of Carlinville, passed away Wednesday afternoon, September 11, 2013 at her residence in rural Carlinville. Bobbie was born on April 12, 1969 to Robert and Deloris (Swearinger) McDonald in Moline, IL. She attended both Pawnee and Virden schools and later received her CNA license. On May 28, 1986 Bobbie married David Kilian in Ft. Worth Texas and he survives. Bobbie was a homemaker, as well as a CNA for several nursing homes in St. Louis, Carlinville and Springfield. She loved decorating, gardening, reading and tending to her chickens and other livestock. Bobbie thoroughly enjoyed the patients she cared for at the nursing homes and loved her Lord. Bobbie is survived by her husband, David Kilian; 3 children, Brook Kilian, Alyssa Kilian and Zachary Kilian all of Carlinville; father, Robert McDonald of Las Vegas, NV; mother, Deloris Gilgenbach of Kansas City, KS and 2 sisters, Zena Olsen and Kimberly Giesen both of Las Vegas, NV. Funeral Information Visitation will be held on Saturday afternoon, September 14, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville, IL. Funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon, September 15, 2013 at 1:30 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Dave Ziegenbein officiating. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery.
