Obituary of Raymond E. Jones

Raymond E. Jones 70, of Carlinville, passed away Wednesday morning, May 8, 2013 at his residence in Carlinville, IL. Raymond was born on January 28, 1943 to Ray Edward and Ruby M. (Caudle) Jones in Carlinville, IL. He was a 1961 graduate of Carlinville High School. On August 6, 1964 Raymond married Shirley Bodoh in Carlinville and she survives. Raymond was a metal worker and lath operator for Ketring's in Carlinville for several years. He enjoyed fishing, baseball, football and watching his grandchildren play. Raymond is survived by his wife Shirley Jones of Carlinville; 2 daughters, Shirley Jones Goodwin (Buggs) and Nancy Jones Highley (James) both of Carlinville; son, Ray E. Jones (Mary) of Carlinville; 10 grandchildren; several step gandchildren, great grandchildren, step great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister Maxine Ruyle (Cecil) of Carlinville and a brother, Paul Jones Sr. (Mary) of Medora, IL. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Roberta Jane Jones Robinson. Funeral Information Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery, Carlinville with Paul Jones Jr. officiating.
