Virginia A. Johnston
58 of Carlinville, passed away Wednesday morning, March 4, 2015, at her residence.
Virginia was born November 14, 1956, in East St. Louis, IL, a daughter of Randolph and Virginia Fanning Sneed.
She married Everett "Shorty" Johnston on October 14, 1975, in Carlinville, IL.
Virginia enjoyed raising her family, playing on the computer, video games, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, son Mathew, a granddaughter, sister LaVern Smith and brother Randall Sneed.
Virginia is survived by her husband, Everett "Shorty" Johnston of Carlinville, IL, daughters, Elizabeth Johnston and Sarah Johnston of Carlinville, IL, 6 grandchildren, sister, Patricia (Steve) Mersman of Alton, IL, brother, Joseph (Lori) Sneed of Glen Carbon, IL, brother, Mike Sneed of Gillespie, IL, several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015, from 9:00 to 11:00 am at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville, IL.
Graveside Services will follow at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Prairie Lawn Cemetery. Donations Information
