Bruce Alan Jacobus
Bruce Alan Jacobus, 47, of Girard, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
He was born Monday, July 20, 1961 in Carrollton, Illinois, the Son of Delano Jacobus and Joyce M. (Hunt) Jacobus.
Bruce graduated from Girard High School in 1980. He was an Independent Contractor for Illinois Valley Rehab in Gillespie, Illinois since 1983. Bruce loved to travel, read comic books and watch television. He also enjoyed fishing and competed in the Special Olympics.
Survivors: Parents, Delano and Joyce Jacobus of Girard, Sister, Delores Bridgett of Bear, Delaware, Brother, Darrell Jacobus of Springfield, Illinois, Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Funeral Information
Visitation: 4:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 24 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard.
Services: 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home.
Burial: Girard Cemetery in Girard, Illinois. Donations Information
Memorials may be made to the Illinois Valley Rehab in Gillespie, Illinois.
