Debbie, we are so sorry for your loss. Our fondest memory of Merv is when we met him at the Moose in 2006 when we moved here. Merv and his best friend Murile befriended Mike and showed us that no matter what your disability he meant something and gave Mike the comfort of speaking to them. We will miss him, Mike & Jo Rita.

We are so sorry about Merv's passing, he is a wonderful man. GOD bless you all and know that Merv will always be around you. Keep your heart open and you will sense him with you.

Deb, Kelly, Curt and family- My deepest condolences to you all... I would like to share a story about the last time I saw Merv. I needed something from Napa/McKay and didn't have a clue what I was looking for but I knew if I went there Merv would help me out and make sure I got what I needed.. So I went in and as soon as we saw each other he got that Merv grin on his face and said "There is my poohstinker!" Of course I'm blushing and embarrassed that he said that in front of others but I just laughed and he came from behind the counter and gave me the tightest hug asked about my family, we chatted for a bit and exchanged I love you's and I left.... Merv: you always made me smile and you were a great man/friend to me and my family and so many others...Thank you for giving me/us the opportunity to know you and experience your heart that was filled with so much love and kindness for others.....Heaven gained an exceptional angel that will forever watch over those he loves and cares about... Meet you on the other side...
