Obituary of Joyce I. Hartung

Joyce I. Hartung 75, of Carlinville, passed away Sunday afternoon, April 10, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. Joyce was born Saturday, August 24, 1935 in Vandalia, the Daughter of George and Myrtle (Barbee) Rensman. Joyce was a bond agent for insurance companies in Springfield retiring in 1999. She was a member of Litchfield Christian Church and the Montgomery Farm Bureau. Joyce loved to dance, garden and spend time bird watching. Joyce is survived by her companion, Harold Wayne Watson of Litchfield; daughter, Tjode Ann LaPlante (Ronald) of Carlinville, grandson, Jonathan James Tapscott (Fiancée; Michelle Stover) of Chesterfield; Granddaughter, Tamara Orr (Fiancé: Alan Jones); great-grandchildren, Cole and Taylor Tapscott, Jacob and Alexandria Powell, and Nicholas and Julianna Orr and her sister, Georgia Butterfield (Bill) of Springfield, IL. Funeral Information Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M., Friday, April 15 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, April 15, 2011 at the funeral home with burial to follow in Shiloh Cemetery, rural Carlinville.
