Tootie Greenwalt
74, of Carlinville, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2009 at her residence.
She was born Thursday, August 8, 1935 in Carlinville, IL, the Daughter of Owen "Speck" and Nettie ( Meyers) Rhoads.
She married Richard C. Greenwalt on April 19, 1955 in Carlinville.
Tootie graduated from Carlinville High School class of 1953.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Plainview Eastern Star Chapter # 665 and the Red Hat Society. Tootie was a homemaker and farmwife. She was a Longaberger Consultant, Election Judge and worked at the Macoupin County Fair. Tootie volunteered at the area nursing homes for bingo and helped with Catholic Charities events. Tootie loved yard sales and was known for her Holiday decorations. She adored her grandchildren and had an unforgettable zest for life.

Greenwalt of Carlinville, IL, Son, Jay Greenwalt (Wife Angie) of Carlinville, IL, Daughter, Jana Schweizer (Husband Steve) of Edwardsville, IL, Daughter, Jodi Valdivieso of Solana Beach, CA, Daughter, Jeena Greenwalt of Chicago, IL, Grandchildren, Aimee Guyer (Will) Sheena Greenwalt, Sam Greenwalt Hank Greenwalt, Kari Schweizer (Fiance Tyler Unterbrink), Greg Schweizer Jeff Schweizer, Bailey Valdivieso Britten Valdivieso, Daisy Valdivieso, Sister, Rhonda Caveny-Jones (Husband Mike Jones) of Carlinville and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jerry Rhoads. Funeral Information
Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M.to 8:00 P.M. at St. Paul'sUnited Church of Christ, Wednesday, December 30, 2009.
Eastern Star rites will be at 2:45 P.M.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, December 31, 2009 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ with Rev Kevin Strope officiating and Jeena Greenwalt eulogist.
Pallbearers, Aimee Guyer, Sheena Greenwalt, Sam Greenwalt, Hank Greenwalt, Kari Schweizer, Greg Schweizer, Jeff Schweizer, Bailey Valdivieso, Britten Valdivieso, and Daisy Valdivieso.

Burial will be in Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery in Carlinville
