Obituary of Dolores M. Frankford

Dolores M. (Leach) Frankford 80, of Carlinville passed away Friday evening, November 2, 2012, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield. Dolores was born August 25, 1932, in Carlinville, IL, a daughter of Earl T. and Leta M.(Clark) Leach. She married Alvis Frankford June 7, 1952, in Carlinville, IL and celebrated their 60th anniversary this year. Dolores graduated from Carlinville High School with the class of 1950. Dolores was a homemaker and farm wife. She was an active member of Concord Primitive Baptist Church in rural Palmyra. Dolores was also a member of HCE of Nilwood, Red Hats, active with Carlinville Senior Citizens' and Palmyra Lioness. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Don and Dale Leach. Dolores is survived by her husband, Alvis, daughters, Carol (Randy) Rumble of Ashland, MO, and Colleen (Gary) Wendt of Carlinville, grandsons Derek Rumble and Nathan Rumble of Ashland, MO, granddaughter, Christine Wendt of Carlinville, great-grandsons, Colton Rumble of Ashland, MO, and Carter Bray of Carlinville, sister, Marilyn Mieher of Carlinville, sisters-in-law, Beverly Leach, and Ida Mae Leach both of Carlinville, and several nieces & nephews. Funeral Information Visitation will be held Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville, IL. Funeral services will be Monday, November 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Charity Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Charity Cemetery, rural Carlinville.
