Obituary of Carl Gene Ferguson

Carl Ferguson 55, of Nilwood, died Saturday evening, January 2, 2010 at Carlinville Area Hospital. He was born Wednesday, January 20, 1954 in Brushy Mound Twsp, IL, the Son of the late Ernest and Mary ( Friend) Ferguson. He married Arlene (Meyers) in the state of Washington on October 1, 1971. Carl had worked for Bunn-O-Matic in Springfield as an assembler for 8 years. He loved his family, play guitar, hunt, fish and drive around in his golf cart. Survivors: Wife, Arlene Ferguson of Nilwood, IL, Son, Chris Ferguson of Nilwood, IL, and Daughter, Barbara Ferguson of Springfield, IL, Grandchildren, Daniel Evans, Kelli, Anna, and Gunner Ferguson, Brother, Bill Ferguson of The Dalles, OR, Sister, Roseanne Ferguson of Salem, IL, Sister, Ruby Burns of Carlinville, IL, Sister, Mabel Downham, Washington, Brother, Del Ferguson of Nilwood, IL, Sister, Peggy Brace of The Dalles, OR, Sister, Vicki Malone of Litchfield, IL, Sister, Melody Ferguson of The Dalles, OR, and Sister, Lola Anderson, Utah. He was preceded in death by infant daughter, Anna Marie Ferguson, parents,brothers, Ernest & John Ferguson and sister Wendy Cox.
