Obituary of David W. Fenton

David W. Fenton David W. Fenton, age 49, of Weehawken, New Jersey, formerly of Chesterfield, IL passed away Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011 at his residence. David was born January 25, 1962 in Carlinville to Laverne Wayne and the late Helen Edna (Davis) Fenton. David was a graduate of Carlinville High School, class of 1980. He received his Bachelor of Music from the Oberlin Conservatory in 1984 and his Masters of Arts in Musicology from the New York University in 1991. David was a self employed computer consultant and programmer, but his greatest enjoyment was his music; he played the piano and various stringed instruments, and also taught, arranged and composed music. Surviving are his father Laverne of Chesterfield; brother James Fenton and wife Ada of Carlock; sisters Beverly Miller of Springfield and Linda Ellis husband Brian of Chesterfield MO, uncle Harold Davis and wife Janet of Carlinville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Private graveside services will be held in the Chesterfield Cemetery at a later date.
