76, of Carlinville passed away Friday evening, October 11, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Marlene was born on August 11, 1937, in Sikeston, MO, a daughter of Charles, Sr. and Linda (Frey) Thomas.
Marlene married Frank Edwards, on March 16, 1957 in Jamestown, IL.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Leah Striplin, son, Robb Edwards, 2 brothers & 2 sisters.
Marlene graduated from Breese High School, with the class of 1957. She had worked as a waitress for Devine Grounds Restaurant in Carlinville, and in her spare time she enjoyed reading.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Frank Edwards of Carlinville, IL, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, brother, Joe (Sharon) Thomas of Beckemeyer, IL, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
