Obituary of Dwight Ernest Ebe

Dwight Ernest Ebe Dwight E. Ebe, age 80 of Wichita passed away Wednesday evening, June 20, 2012 at Via Christi Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. Dwight was born on February 9, 1932 in Waggoner, IL, a son of George Ernest and Hattie Evelyn(Haynes) Ebe. Dwight grew up in Morrisonville and graduated from Morrisonville High School with the class of 1950. In 1960 Dwight moved to Carthage, MO, to purchase and operate a vending business called Carthage Music Company. Dwight later relocated to Wichita Kansas in the mid-1980s to work with Chilton Billiards. Surviving are his children, Steven Dwight Ebe of Nashville, TN, Daniel Edward Ebe of Wichita, KS; grandson, Sam Ebe of Nashville, TN; sisters, Eloise Littler of Peoria, IL, and Jeanne (Bill) Olson of Carlinville, IL, a niece, three nephews and best friend/companion Andrea Dorpinghaus and her daughter, Britney. Funeral Information Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Sunday June 24, 2012 at Providence Cemetery in rural Waggoner with Rev. Robert Taylor officiating. Dwight will be laid to rest next to his parents. Donations Information Memorial may be given to Macoupin County Animal Shelter.
