Obituary of Janice Lynn Allen

Janice L. Allen 55, of Girard, died Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Carlinville Area Hospital. She was born Saturday, February 12, 1955 in Springfield, Illinois, the Daughter of the late Howard Clark, Sr. and the late Naomi (Jackson) Clark Chasteen. She married William L. Allen at St Patrick's Hall in Girard on April 13, 1995. She was Homemaker. Janice loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved to play bunko. Miller, Jr. (Jennifer) of Standard City, IL, Daughter, Janae Miller (Companion: Angie Padget) of Springfield, IL, Son, Jeremy Miller (Melissa) of Girard, IL, Step-daughter, Amy Wilder (Brad) of Litchfield, IL, Step-daughter, Jill Mazrim (Tim) of Springfield, IL, Step-daughter, Heather Huffines (Jay) of Waverly, IL, Step-son, Chad Allen of Springfield, IL, 5 Grandchildren & 7 Step-grandchildren, Sister, Donna Burnett (Jerry) of Girard, IL, Brother, Howard Clark, Jr. (Sue) of Virden, IL, Brother, Terry Clark (Sarah) of Standard City, IL, Sister, Karen Adcock (Companion: Chris Morgan) of Girard, IL, Several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents & Step-father, Darrell K. Chasteen, Sisters: Bonnie Gibson, Marilyn Garrison, Sharon Avala, Cheri Boehler, Judith Clark, and Christina Clark. Funeral Information Visitation: 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 25 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard. Services: 7:30 P.M., Tuesday, January 25, following visitation. Pastor Kathy Hopkins will officiate. Private burial will take place at Bethel Ridge Cemetery in Atwater, at a later date.
