Imogene Donaldson
93, of Girard passed away Saturday morning, May 31, 2014, at Pleasant Hill Village in Girard, IL.
Imogene was born July 10, 1920, in Winchester, IL, a daughter of Harr and Zella (Christianson) Lyman.
Imogene was married to Damian Donaldson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Kenneth Markillie, step-sons Larry & Robert Donaldson. Imogene graduated from Girard High School, the same year as her son.
Imogene worked on the family farm and previous to that, owned and operated the M&M Restaurant in Springfield, IL.
Surviving are her daughter, Marilyn (Donald) Whited of Sugar Grove, IL, step daughters Janet Smith of Girard, IL and Mary Don Frey (Rick) of Sherman, IL.; stepson Tom Donaldson (Donna) of Shipman, IL 4 grandchildren, several step grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several step great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson. Burial will be in Winchester, IL. Donations Information
Memorials may be made to the Christian Church of Girard or Pleasant Hill Village.
