Obituary of Norma M. Denby

Norma M. Denby 85, of Crystal Lake formerly of Girard passed away Monday evening, April 22, 2013, at The Springs Nursing Home in Crystal Lake, IL. Norma was born April 15, 1928, in Taylorville, IL, a daughter of Henry and Frieda (Rovey) Klimm. Norma married Lynn A. Denby on November 28, 1958 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Harvel, IL and he passed away December 6, 2003. Norma was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Harold Klimm and sister, Mildred Mathers. Norma had worked for General Telephone Company for several years in the Accounting Department and later as the receptionist for Illinois Governor William G. Stratton and Prairie Farms Dairy in Carlinville. Norma was an avid gardener and long-time member of the Springfield Civic Garden Club. Surviving are her son, Dean (Mariann) Denby of Girard, IL; daughter, Linda Bowen of Marengo, IL; 3 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a brother, Paul (Evelyn) Klimm of Jacksonville, IL. Funeral Information Friends may call on Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard, IL. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in rural Girard with Rev. Dr. Michael Strong officiating.
