Obituary of Laura Ellen Davis

Bunnie Davis 88, of Carlinville, died Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Heritage Manor in Carlinville. She was born Sunday, September 25, 1921 in Modesto, Illinois, the Daughter of Fred D. and Helen Hester (Adcock) Hart. She married the Harold Davis in St. Charles, MO on August 15, 1939 and he passed away March 22, 1990. Bunnie had been a retail clerk for Bremers 5&10 Store in Carlinville for many years and worked with her husband on the family farm. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Carlinville. Survivors: Son, Dennie Davis wife Kathy of Carlinville, IL, Granddaughters, Teresa Drake husband Roger, , Kelley Liljegren husband Mike and Kerry Lorton husband J.D., Great Grandchildren, Tristan Davis wife Amber and Nichole Pipkin, Hanna, Luke and Faith Liljegren, Sophie, D.J., Miles and Will Lorton, Great Great Granddaughter Emmalynne Davis, Brothers, Dean Hart of Jerseyville, IL and Carol Hart of Carlinville, IL. She was preceded in death by parents, husband, daughter Sandra Ellen Davis in 1945, four brothers and three sisters. Funeral Information Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Saturday, June 5 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville, IL. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 6, 2010 at the funeral home with Rev. Chad Ozee. Burial will be in Oak Wood Cemetery in Greenfield, IL. Pallbearers will be Roger Drake, Tristan Davis, J.D. Lorton, Roger Steckel, Mike Liljegren and Ed Hammann.
