Obituary of Glenn F. Bumgardner

Glenn F. Bumgardner Glenn F. Bumgardner, age 89, of Carlinville formerly of Chesterfield died Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Jersey Nursing & Rehab Center in Jerseyville, IL. Glenn was the son of William Frank and Molly (Bell) Bumgardner and was born in Salisbury, IL on May 17, 1919. He married Juanita (Ellegood) September 16, 1942 in St. Louis, MO. Glenn was a self-employed grain and dairy farmer in Chesterfield, IL. He also transported milk to Prairie Farms Dairy in Carlinville, IL and did custom baling. Glenn was a member of the United Church of Chesterfield and the Gideons. Family members include, Wife Juanita of Carlinville, IL Children: Evelyn Koke, husband Wendell of Springfield, IL, James Bumgardner, wife (Edith) of Sulpher Springs, AR, Barbara Peebles, husband Stanley of Medora, IL, Frank Bumgardner of Louisville, KY, Shirley Kahl, husband Walter of Clemmons, NC, William Bumgardner, wife Brenda of Mt. Olive, IL and Wanda Rains of Painsville, KY 22 Grandchildren, 48 Great Grandchildren and 10 Great Great Grandchildren Very special friends, Bob and Wanda Fedro of Wichita, KS and Rita and Joe Zeimet of Lodi, WI Funeral Information Funeral services will be held, Monday, January 26, 2009, 10:30 A.M. at the Chesterfield Bible Church of Chesterfield. Family and friends may call Sunday, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Chesterfield. Burial will be in Loomis Cemetery in Chesterfield, IL.
